Formal, objective evaluation of neuropsychological and emotional symptoms following concussion

Brief neuropsychological assessment to evaluate concussion and monitor recovery over time is available. Formal assessment of neurocognitive and psychological functioning following a concussion is useful to inform conclusions regarding the cause (neurological v. nonneurological); rehabilitation programming; medical decisions regarding returning to sport, school, and work; and monitoring recovery from brain injury and the impact of treatments.
